Just a suggestion. How about making mini cup cakes for cakes. Apart from saving the 50 you'll get the hostess of the night trophy!

Good luck anyway

For the hard tops, try lowering your temperature. If the cake has risen very high on the top and split like puckered lip, that may indicate temperatures are too high.

Hi there! Came across your post just browsing. :] Anyhow, I certainly can't claim to understand fully your circumstances, but I'm sorry you are feeling the way you are about your work - many in this country right now, including myself, are together with you on this feeling! And many others without any work are suffering for different reasons.

You just have to look at things from a different perspective - you have a job right now in this flailing economy, so are in a greater position than most. Try to change up your assignments by talking with a manager. Possibly move to another group or department. Or begin looking for another job now. When you are already employed, you are in the best position to find another job. It sounds like both the atmosphere and duties of your job are not meshing well with you - so if you can't pinpoint a specific reason why you continue to endure the job each day, then you have your answer right there what you need to do. But don't quit until you first have a plan!

If there is something about your life that is coming in the way of your happiness, always try to change it. I know it may be hard, but it will always be worth the attempt. :]

I can really relate to that. I'm not sure what your situation is like, but for me, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life yet, but I needed money, so I just took any job that would take me. While being there, I had many challenges and wanted to quit all the time. But I knew that this thinking would get me nowhere. I either had to somehow embrace this job or find another way to make money. So one day, I said, just for today, I will be of maximum service, I'll do the best I can do to help others and work hard today. That day seemed like it went by fast and I also felt great after. That was my experience, but it's also my experience, that eventually I did quit, but was planning it and was off on a great venture. But being at the job, gave me a lot of the experience that would help in my own business that I didn't realize. I know this doesn't change the fact that your job still sucks, but I know that this is only a moment for you, and that it will pass and either way you will learn from it. Wish you the best on your journey
